Walkhampton, and Huckworthy Bridge - P5, Q4 and P4

We drove to Walkhampton, a village I had never visited before.  A war memorial in the shape of a cross is right at the centre and a roundabout had been constructed around it.  A pretty a stream ran through the village.  The school mentioned in by JH in Dartmoor 365 was a notable building and  had a very elaborate bell tower

We walked from the village up the road to the church.  There was a large graveyard that appeared to be full and new graves were being placed in ground adjacent to it.  The church house mentioned by JH had windows that looked as if they had come from a church.  There was a cross on the other side of the road from the house.

From the church we walked down a path and through a field of cows to the road leading to Huckworthy Bridge.  This was a pleasant place to stop for lunch.

From here we walked up the road back to Walkhampton, a pleasant circular walk, that involved seeing three squares I had never visited before.
