Lady's Wood (W14)

There was a small parking area at the entrance to the footpath to Lady's Wood.  We walked along with the stream gurgling alongside us. Ahead of us we saw the massive Glaze Viaduct.

At the entrance to Lady's Wood there was a Devon Wildlife Trust noticeboard giving details of the wildlife in the area and a map of the site.

We walked around the site, which took 20 minutes rather than 40 minutes that the board said.  It was a pleasant walk through woodland.  I would like to come back in the spring when the bluebells are in flower.

When we got back to the car I noticed this sculpture in the hedge opposite.
